HEY FRIENDS! We’re Lorenzo & Lindsay—one coffee-powered couple from New Mexico wrangling three turbo-charged kiddos and somehow still finding time to press “record.”

Expect late-night ramblings, semi-deep thoughts, and the occasional laser-sound effect 🎶 WOOSH! Like the early internet, our show loads fast, breaks often, and is always under construction.

🗨️ We grew up on AOL chat rooms, discovered indie bands on MySpace, and spam-clicked purple links on Yahoo! & Excite. Now we’re streaming to the multiverse so you don’t need a dial-up tone in your headphones.

Just Need Some Buffer Time

In this episode we jump in discussing the book Lindsey is working on. (Lorenzo seems a little butthurt that she hasn’t asked him to read it.) 

But, for real. We all need a little downtime. Right? Is it childish to play video games at 40? Probably. Is it selfish to prioritize what’s on your phone over your kids? I don’t know. Does our brain need a bit of downtime in this crazy life? Absolutely.

Creativity and stuf

Creativity... What does it mean to be creative? I asked the large language model and this is what she said. that are original and meaningful. It involves the process of combining existing knowledge, skills, and experiences in novel and imaginative ways to produce something unique and innovative. Being creative means having the capacity to think divergently, break away from conventional patterns, and approach problems or tasks from fresh perspectives.

AI chatbots aren't creative yet. But humans are. Humans are great and we wanted to talk about that. Maybe we ran our mouths too much in this one? I mean, what's new, right? We're always running our mouths. I think the difference here is I had a chance to edit it out and I still didn't. Jokes on me. 

Will the bots ever possess creativity?
